Founded in 2015, Sheridan Junior Golf Association (SJGA) is a non-profit organization that introduces Sheridan area youth to the game of golf, and helps junior golfers develop golf and life skills through competitive programs and tournaments. As a non-profit organization, the SJGA is supported by a vast network of volunteers who are passionate about junior golf. Our Board Members, Directors, and staff spend countless hours creating a variety of tournament experiences specifically designed for junior golfers.
Sheridan Junior Golf Association (SJGA) promotes and encourages participation in the game of golf for girls and boys ages 6-18.
Head Golf Professional and PGA Member Scott Ballif will be leading the program. Scott has over 20 years of Experience Running Junior Golf Programs and developing players.
All registrations will be made on the Sheridan Junior Golf Website.
Youth Ages 8-16This is a great opportunity for young people in the Sheridan area to learn how to play golf and/or increase their golf skills. This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 8 to 16 to have fun building interest in this lifetime sport through skill development. Participants will learn rules, etiquette, and basic fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing techniques.
